It is our intent to make this experience special for you, your baby and your family. A team of health care professionals will provide you with care at the hospital. We will work together with you to identify your needs and create a care plan specific to you. Your health care team may include Registered Nurses, Doctors, Midwives, Pharmacist, Registered Dietitian, Public Health Nurse or Student training in health care. In order to provide the best care for you and your baby information about your health care may be shared between members of the health care team. Your health care providers welcome your comments and questions.
We are designated by the World Health Organization and Breastfeeding Committee for Canada as a Baby-Friendly organization. We train all of our nurses and health care providers to assist new parents with making informed infant feeding choices and support infant feeding as chosen.
