Health Care Heroes Radiothon has reached over $102,000 to purchase operating room equipment.

Walk for Cancer Care event raised over $12,000 to purchase an Alaris Infusion Pump and an Oncology Infusion Devise, both of which are in the process of being ordered.

In recognition of their generosity, the Foundation directors thank members of this community who enabled the following equipment to be acquired: an endoscopic irrigator pump, a smoke evacuator, surgical instrument replacement, carpal tunnel sets and an endoscopy tower.

Every year, surgical procedures performed by seven medical specialists and local physicians required the use of the hospital's operating room. The replacement and addition of this equipment means thousands of local residents will continue to receive these procedures close to home.

The Foundation Board applauds Mount Forest and area for this tremendous show of support to keep the Louise Marshall Hospital operating room and oncology unit functional in order to serve family, friends and neighbours of this community. Thanks so very much.
