Allan Hodgson, Board Chair
Allan has worked with many organizations in business management, information systems management, human resources and finance. He resides at his homestead located in the Municipality of the Town of Minto. Allan has recently been appointed Chair of the LMH ER/Ambulatory Care Building Committee and has also served on the Hospital Board as Treasurer and Vice Chair before becoming Board Chair in June 2010.





Maxine Rybka, Vice Chair

Maxine is a Risk Management Consultant for Manulife Financial in Waterloo. Her entire career has been in the financial sector. Maxine also has experience in project management, being a consultant for the human resources talent management and currently the owner of an on-line retail company. In 2005, Maxine was awarded the STAR of Excellence award, Manulife Financial’s highest internationally-recognized award. She has served on the Hospital Board as the Nominating Committee Chair, as well as the Vice Chair of the Safety, Quality and Performance Improvement Committee and a member of the Minto Mapleton Physician Recruitment Committee. Maxine has been serving as Vice Chair of the Board since June 2011 and resides in Drayton with her husband Tony.

Patti-Jo McLellan Shaw, Past Chair

Patti-Jo is the President of Hapfield Developments, Mount Forest – a residential and commercial property rentals, a lecturer at York University, School of Kinesiology, former Director of Mount Forest Chamber of Commerce and Committee member of the Communities in Bloom Committee (2004 National Champions) and attained degrees in BPHE at the University of Toronto and a MBA at the University of Ottawa. Patti-Jo was elected to the Board in 2003 and has been Board Chair and a member of the Executive, Governance, Alliance, Safety, Quality and Performance Improvement (SQPI) and the Mount Forest Recruitment Committees during her terms. Patti-Jo and her husband Jim reside in King City.

Mary Lou Brown, Secretary

Mary Lou is a retired RN with Emergency Nurse Certification ENC(C) training and Clinical Resource Leader of the Emergency Department at the Palmerston & District Hospital. Her nursing background includes Head Nurse of Family Practice Unit at Toronto Western Hospital, Emergency Department at Toronto East General Hospital, and Director of Nursing Geri Care (Caressant Care) Harriston. Mary Lou was elected to the Board in 2005 and has served as Chair of the Safety, Quality and Performance Improvement Committee before assuming the role on the Board Executive as Secretary. Mary Lou resides in Palmerston with her husband, Paul.


 

Tom Sullivan, Treasurer
Tom is the Vice President and General Manager of Wightman Telecom Ltd. in Clifford. He has held a variety of management positions within Bell Canada beginning in 1969 and been a part of the changing competitive landscape in the Canadian telecom industry. Tom was the Past President of the Normanby Federation of Agriculture and a member of the Mount Forest and Orangeville Chambers of Commerce. Tom was elected to the Board in 2009. He and his wife Laurie are residents of West Grey Township for the past 16 years and have grown children.

 



Dr. Simon Goodall, Chief of Staff

Dr. Goodall is a general practitioner with a practice in Mount Forest since 1985. Before coming to Mount Forest, he had a practice in Manitoba. He was appointed to the Board in 2011 as Chief of Staff. Dr. Goodall resides in the Township of Southgate with his wife Elizabeth.



 

Jerome Quenneville, President and CEO
Jerome joined the North Wellington Health Care and Groves Memorial Community Hospital in 2007 as the President and CEO. He has developed a strong leadership team for the two hospitals. This administrative Alliance continues to grow and develop since its inception in 2005. Jerome was trained as a Chartered Accountant, and began his career in the hospital administration field in the late 80’s. Jerome has four grown children and also enjoys his occasional work on the family farm in southern Ontario as a way to keep in touch with his farming roots.




Dr. Christine Peterkin, President of Medical Staff Association
Dr. Peterkin is a family physician at the Mapleton Health Centre in Drayton. She is also affiliated with the Palmerston and District Hospital where she practices obstetrics, emergency medicine and hospitalist work. Originally from Montreal, Quebec, she came to south western Ontario in pursuit of a rural practice. Seven years later, she has a thriving medical practice and is enjoying country living with her husband, Matt and children Riley and Aidan. From city girl to country bumpkin, she would have it no other way! Dr. Peterkin was appointed to the Board for a 1 year term in January 2010 and again in January 2012.


David Anderson

David is self-employed, agent for Service Ontario operating a Motor Vehicle License office in Harriston. He is the former Mayor of the Town of Minto. David resides in the Township of Minto with his wife Jean.

Mark Ferrier
Mark is an ordained minister of The United Church of Canada for 24 years. He has served congregations in Manitoba, Manitoulin Island, Ottawa Valley, and since 2004, the Mount Forest and Woodland United Churches. Mark has served as a leader in the United Church from the local to the National level. Mark was elected to the Board in 2010 and currently serves on Safety, Quality and Performance Improvement, Ethics and Nominating Committees. Mark resides in Mount Forest.








Dr. Terry Fisk
Terry is a veterinarian graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph in 1975. He has been private practice in Harriston since 1975. His community involvement includes: Kinsmen, K-40, Legion, The Society of Veterinarians of Ontario (now Ontario Veterinary Medical Association), Past President and current Treasurer of the Grey-Bruce Veterinary Association, an elder and trustee at Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church in Harriston, on the Board of Directors of First Leaside Securities and recently elected as Deputy Mayor of the Town of Minto. Terry and his wife Krista have four adult children.



 



 


Dr. Barbara Leslie
Barbara is a consultant with Leslie and Associates Inc. She attained a Masters degree in epidemiology and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Guelph and is a Chartered Director. Barbara is a member of the Board of Directors for Hospice Wellington, Guelph Hydro Electric Systems Inc. and the College of Veterinarians of Ontario. Barbara was elected to the Board in 2010 and is a member of the Safety, Quality and Performance Improvement (SQPI) Committee. Barbara and her husband Ken live near Damascus.Diane is the Vice President of Patient Care Services for North Wellington Health Care and Groves Memorial Community Hospital. Diane is a Registered Nurse with a MBA from McMaster University and has worked in acute care hospitals for her entire career.



Patrick MacNeil

 

Patrick is a Partner in CMAC Training & Consulting Services Inc. Patrick provides auditing, consulting and training services across Canada on behalf of CMAC and has clients in the automotive, electronic, CNC machining, custom fabrication and service industries. Patrick is a RABQSA ISO9001:2008 Principal Auditor, OHSAS18001:2007 Lead Auditor, ISO/TS16949:2009 Internal Auditor and an ISO14001:2004 Internal Auditor. He also provides training services for a leading North American registrar on behalf of CMAC. He was elected to the Board in 2011 and is a member of the Resources and Nominating Committees. Patrick and his wife are residents of Wellington North Township.



Brian McMahon

Brian is a Special Education Resource Teacher for the Wellington Catholic District School Board (WCDSB). He holds qualifications as a Teacher of the Deaf, Special Education Specialist and Principal credentials. Brian has served on the Arthur and Area Recreational Committee and as the Health and Safety Co-Chair for the WCDSB. He also teaches in the Educational Assistant Program at Conestoga College. Brian has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Education Degree, Nipissing University. Brian and his wife live in Arthur.

Diane Wilkinson - VP Patient Care Services/CNE
Diane is the Vice President of Patient Care Services for North Wellington Health Care and Groves Memorial Community Hospital. Diane is a Registered Nurse with a MBA from McMaster University and has worked in acute care hospitals for her entire career.

Dan Yake
Dan works for the Ontario Government for the Ontario Clean Water Agency at the Arthur Waste Water Plant. He has been a Wellington Township Councilor since 1994 and was appointed as Council rep in 2003 to the Hospital Board. Dan and his wife reside in Mount Forest.
